The team approached us with an outdated, awkward Android app that made installs and updates slow and confusing, we delivered a full UX/UI redesign: audited flows and KPIs, shortened the path to install and update, rebuilt the information architecture and navigation, redesigned the app page — description, versions, requirements, permissions, reviews, risk cues — so essentials surface on the first screen, crafted a guided APK install flow with signature and integrity checks, clear system prompts, and handling for low storage and incompatibility, rebuilt the updates hub with task queuing, background downloads, and transparent progress, added offline behavior and predictable recovery after errors, created a design system and Figma UI Kit — tokens, typography, DPI-aware layouts, light/dark themes, states, skeletons, empty and error screens, iconography — prepared developer handoff with specs, screen and event maps, and QA checklists, addressed accessibility with contrast, scalable type, focus states, larger touch targets, and TalkBack support, and optimized UI performance with lazy lists, placeholders, and bandwidth-aware loading, resulting in a cleaner, faster interface with less friction at critical steps and more predictable installs and updates
